Biography of James H Davidson

James H Davidson, b 10-17-1780, unknown, d 8-11-1854, unknown. Married Harriet B Smith, 7-8-1802, Frederick, Va. First 
appears in Logan Co, Ky in 3-31-1790 to 1811. He had eight children, owned a tavern, and was a Mason. His birth place 
and burial site are unknown. I believe that his father was George Davidson, b 1736, unknown, and came to Va in 1774 at 
the age of 38 on "the Elizabeth" as an indentured servant from the Port of London, England. After serving his indentured 
servant time, he first appears in Wilson Co Tn and then in Logan Co. Ky. beginning in June 21, 1787 to 1811. My lineage 
from James H Davidson goes to his son Thomas Hiram Davidson, b 1809, unknown, d 1896 in Logan Co Ky. and is buried in 
Jarrett Cemetery in Epley Station, Ky. His wife was Sara Jane Cooper, no facts known. Next is Robert T. Davidson, b 1848, 
unknown, d 1903, buried in cemetery in Cooperstown, Ky with no marker. In 1979, a marker with his name, was placed in the
 Dav! idson Plot in Maple Grove Cemetary, Russellville, Ky but the body was not moved. His wife was Lillian Corene Edmonson,
 b 12-5-1865, d 2-10-1959 and is buried in Davidson Plot in Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville Ky. My father, John Forrest
 Davidson, b 1-18-1896, Edwards, Ky, d 2-4-1982, and is buried in the Davidson Plot in Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville,
 Ky. My mother was Mildred Elizabeth Ward, b 4-10-1914, Lake Wales, Fl, d 7-22-1996, and is buried in the Davidson Plot in
 the Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville, Ky.
